MINE Test of Time Award
The MINE Test of Time Award is given for the best work, presented at a MicroTAS Conference within the last 10 - 15 years that is still impacting today`s MicroTAS research.
Nomination Process
Nominations can be made by anyone and must be sent via email to
awards@microtas2026.org.
Self-nominations are welcome.
Each nomination is valid for two years.
A one-page CV for the nominee, including the title of the abstract and information on which year the presentation took place (10-15 year ago).
An accompanying letter of why this work can be considered as the best work that is still impacting today`s MicroTAS research.
Eligibility
The awardee must be still an active researcher in the field of MicroTAS at a University, public institution, or company.
Officers, employees, lab members, or family members of Microsystems & Nanoengineering and CMBS are not eligible for the Award. All real or perceived conflicts of interest should be avoided.

Selection Process
The selection will be done by 3 MicroTAS chairs who served 10 - 15 years ago and the Executive Editor-in-Chief of the journal, Professor Tianhong Cui.
The Winner Will Receive
- $2000 Honorarium
- An Award Plaque
- Dedicated 15-Minute Presentation During the Conference
- Invited to a Journal Publication, Preferentially a Review Article on the Topic of the Contribution
